Rapid On-Site COVID-19 Antigen Testing
In response to the growing need for fast and accurate COVID-19 testing, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted emergency authorization for the use of rapid antigen testing to detect COVID-19. Medella Urgent Care is pleased to offer this nasal swab test. After we collect your sample, we will immediately process it on site using Quidel Corporation’s Sofia 2 SARS Antigen FIA, which provides COVID-19 testing results within minutes.
COVID-19 Blood Antibody Testing
By testing a sample of your blood for antibodies to SARS-CoV-2—which your immune system would likely produce in response to a COVID-19 exposure—we can determine whether you were infected with COVID-19 in the past.
